Well, it was my dream too, and here I am crossing one more item off  my “to do list”. and the cherry on the cake is, I will be riding a Bullet Classic 500 for next 10 days.

Chapter 1 : The beginning

From : Nashik
To : Pathankot via Mumbai
Distance : 1900 KM
Mode : Train

Day 1,2 and 3 (16th July 2016):
My first destination was Pathankot, which was a 36 hour long train journey via Mumbai. I had to collect my ride from there but back then my brain was empty and excited at same time. I had to join my devils on the road at Manali. Some of my friends left Nashik to Chandigarh as they would be starting their journey from Chandigarh and some of the riders came from as far a New-Zealand and Europe. Our meeting point was Manali, which was approximately around 350 kms  from Pathankot on July 19th.

TIP : If you have a bike in Nashik, you can courier it to Chandigarh, Via logistics companies like Gati, or you can also rent a bike there. Rent ranges from Rs.2000 per day for a Bullet 350.

(P.S: Indian railway, has improved a lot in terms of cleanliness and schedule from the last time. Good work)

There was nothing over the top exciting in this chapter, it was a  routine train journey from Nashik to Pathankot. The real adventure begins from the next chapter.

I am an open book. Some read the first page and fall asleep while the rest keep asking me for subsequent volumes.
